Imagine if you no longer had access to books. No more romances, thrillers, family sagas, adventures, biographies, history, travel, humour, talking books…
Imagine if you were able to give someone the chance to enjoy their library again…
Could you spare 2 or 3 hours every 3 weeks and volunteer to deliver and return library books and other loan items for an At Home library customer in the Wetherby area?
Imagine what a difference you could make to that person’s life…

Your own website at Wetherby Community
Wetherby Lions are pleased to offer local organisations, charities and clubs the opportunity of their own named website within the top level domain www.wetherbycommunity.org along with access, as registered users, to the main site where news articles can be uploaded directly by the organisation – all for an annual donation of £10 to the Club’s charity account.
The following organisations have already taken advantage of this scheme:

Wetherby Silver Band
Wetherby Tea Dances
Wetherby Speakers Club
Wetherby Retired Men's Forum
Deepdale Community Centre
The Lions are also willing to author the content for bona fide non-profit making clubs and charities or the website can be used to re-direct Internet users to an existing site.
